How many rounds to play

My recommendation for eight players is to start with 6 rounds. With 24-point matches, each round usually takes about 10 minutes; When adding track changes, explanation and loading of results, the session is around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

When to add a seventh round

Play 7 rounds if you want each person to share a partner with the other seven participants. It is the most comprehensive option, but leaves additional time for changes and possible delays. How to score the Americano

Matches at 24 points

Have each match end when one pair reaches the agreed limit and use gold point so as not to extend the games. In a 24-point modality, the score of the two pairs always adds up to 24: if one pair scores 15, the other scores 9.

Each player receives the points that their partner has earned in that round. At the end, add up the individual score of the six or seven rounds. Whoever has the highest total wins, not necessarily whoever has won the most games.

1. Total points accumulated.
