Privacy Policy

1. Summary

At Padelya we believe in minimum privacy: we only ask for the essential data for the app to work. We don't sell your data, we don't use advertising, and we don't track your activity outside of the app.

2. Account and identity

To use Padelya, create an account with your email or through “Sign in with Apple.” We save your email, your name and your username to identify you within the app and allow other people to invite you. If you use “Sign in with Apple” and choose to hide your email, we only receive the anonymous forwarding address that Apple generates.

3. Data you create

We save the tournaments, pairs, players, groups of players, matches, results, prizes and odds that you enter, along with your profile photo if you decide to add it.

4. Location

We do not access your device's GPS. When you type the address of a tournament, the app can convert that text into coordinates (geocoding) just to offer you the "Open in maps" button. You write that address; We do not track your position.

5. Contacts

Access to your contacts is optional and is only used when, when sharing a tournament, you choose a contact to tag the invitation with their name. We do not upload your agenda; Only the name you select for that invitation is saved.

6. Calendar

Access to your calendar is optional. When you choose "Add to calendar" a tournament, the app creates an event with the date, place and a link to return to Padelya, using write-only permission. We don't read your events or access the rest of your calendar, and you can revoke permission in iOS Settings.

7. Notifications and live activity

With your permission, we send local reminders (for example that your tournament starts soon) and display a “live activity” on the lock screen while a tournament is in play. You can disable these notifications from Profile or from iOS Settings.

8. How we use your data

We use your data to provide you with the service: show your tournaments, synchronize them between your devices and allow you to share them with whoever you invite. We also record limited interactions with the Padelya Pro screen—for example, viewing, launching, canceling, completing, or restoring a purchase—along with the version of the app and the point from which it was opened. This allows us to detect errors and understand if the subscription process is working. These events are associated with your account within Padelya, they are not used for advertising or to follow you on apps or sites of other companies. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

9. Subscriptions and payments

Padelya offers an optional subscription, Padelya Pro. Purchases are processed through Apple in the App Store: we do not receive or store your card or payment method details. To activate payment features, we verify the transaction information signed by Apple on our servers and link it to your Padelya account. We retain transaction, product, environment identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the signed information; We do not store the entire signed receipt in your profile or financial information. Billing, refunds, and cancellation are handled by Apple in your App Store Account Settings.

10. Storage and security

Your data is stored on the Supabase infrastructure and protected by per-user access rules, so only you—and the people you share a tournament with—can see the relevant information. Private subscription verification data is only accessible by our server services. The entire transmission is encrypted using HTTPS.

11. Share tournaments

When you invite someone to a tournament, that person can see that tournament, its pairs, matches and results. Only what you choose to share is shared, and you can revoke access at any time.

12. Conservation and disposal

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Doing so permanently deletes your tournaments, players, groups, shared data, and your account.

13. Minors

Padelya is not directed at children under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect improvements or legal changes. We will publish the current version with its update date.
